1 bay leaf

Wash the wild garlic buds thoroughly and pat them dry.
In a saucepan, bring vinegar, water, salt, sugar, peppercorns, and the bay leaf to a boil.
Place the buds in a sterilized jar and pour the hot vinegar mixture over them.
Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for at least a week.
